Northampton Town captain Chris Doig could make his first appearance in five months for the trip to face in-form Southend United.Doig last appeared in the FA Cup first-round draw at Darlington in November where he suffered a serious knee injury but was back on the bench for last weekend's 2-1 win over Luton and is fit enough to return.
