Kevin Blackwell has defended the club's decision to bring veteran defender Ugo Ehiogu to Bramall Lane.The 35-year-old journeyman centre-half was handed an 18-month contract by former manager Bryan Robson in January and impressed current boss Blackwell when stepping off the bench against Hull last week.
